Do Blue Light Glasses Have a Tint?
It depends on the lens. Many blue light glasses have clear or only very faintly tinted lenses, so they look like regular glasses and don't noticeably change colors — these are made for all-day screen wear. Others, especially ones aimed at evening use, have an amber or orange tint that blocks more blue light and does give things a warmer cast.
So if you're picturing the orange-lens look, that's just one type. Clear-lens blue light glasses are common precisely because people want screen filtering without a visible tint or color shift. If color accuracy matters for your work (design, photo editing), clear lenses are the way to go; if you want maximum evening blocking and don't mind the warm tint, amber lenses do more.
